Meet the Designer
Australian designer Bree Telford looks at the world through a lens of contradictions. Her designs explore the unlikely pairings of hard and soft, feminine and masculine, casual and luxury, and natural and technological.
She graduated with honors from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Arts in fashion design. After college, she worked as a designer for Mooks Clothing in Australia. She then moved to London to work as a product developer for Ted Baker. From there, she headed to Toronto to design for Line Knitwear. She finally settled in New York, working at White + Warren for two years, designing sweaters, cut-and-sew knits and wovens.
Now, Bree is the founding designer at Quinn. She is responsible for all design and technical aspects of the men’s and women’s collections - from conception to pre-production. Every season, she sources yarns and fabrics from all over the world, including France, Italy, and Japan. She has launched a limited edition collection for Fall 16. It will be presented in the best stores this upcoming fall.
